[IELTS Speaking Part 2] Describe a short journey you often make that you really do not like

Đề này nói chung là cũng hơi kỳ. Đã “do not like” mà xong vẫn phải “often make”. Thật sự khóc mà :(( Nói chung thì bài này học sinh thì kể đường đi học còn người đi làm thì kể đường đi làm nhé! Nhớ là kể chuyến đi chứ đừng để về điểm đến nhá.

Mình gửi mọi người phần thu âm: Describe a short journey you often make that you really do not like

Transcript:

Well, about this topic, the only journey that I dislike is my daily commute to work. I have been working as a marketing manager for a local fashion brand based in Hanoi and my workplace is located near the Old Quarter, which is around 7 km away from my house. Every day, I have to go to work at around 7 am in the morning and travel the same route back home at around 6 pm. I mean it is my duty to go back and forth because not only do I have to be in the office to manage the work of the whole marketing team but I am also required to meet my company’s clients in person.

However, the whole journey becomes my daily hassle as I usually have to go through the traffic jams before I can get to my office. To make the situation worse, there have been some road construction sites recently sprung up on my way to work. So apart from the frustration that I have to endure because of the traffic congestion, I also have to suffer from the noise and dust from those sites. Even though the journey only takes me around 30 minutes, sometimes I get so irritated by it that I even get mad for literally no reason at all. It really affects my mood for the whole day and can lead to a decline in my productivity at work actually. Honestly, I hope that I could just find another route to go to work everyday to avoid such an unpleasant experience in the future.
