[IELTS Speaking Part 2] Describe a situation when you came close to a wild animal

Mình gửi mọi người phần thu âm: Describe a situation when you came close to a wild animal
Transcript:
Well, as a life science and biotechnology graduate, I did have one or two field trips during my university time that allowed me to get close to wild animals. For this topic, I would like to talk about the time I visited Seoul Grand Park, which is actually the first zoo in the Korean peninsula founded in the early 20th century. I had a chance to visit the place with my professor and some of my peers in the Animal Preservation class in order to further scrutinize the behaviors of wild animals living in captive environments.
As I can recall, when we arrived at the site, the animals were being fed by the zookeepers there. It was actually the first time that I saw how some animals such as alligators and giraffes eat their food. What really made me interested was the fact that in contrast to the aggressive eating habits of the alligators, the giraffes were gently consuming the fresh leaves from a tall tree using their flexible jaw and neck. We even had a chance to feed them some fruits and I think they were such friendly creatures. After the trip, we all felt so grateful that we got the opportunities to observe those animals in real life. This really made me think of how under certain circumstances zoos are a good environment for animals to live without being exposed to dangers such as predators or illegal poachers. If I have a chance to visit Korea again, I will definitely go back to this zoo.
